Sounds of Silence oil painting was another painting I completed at the end of September and due to go on sale.
I do love the coast, though I grew up south of Sydney and very close to the Southern Highlands in New South Wales. It’s a beautiful area, usually covered with lush greenery, cultivated fields, walking tracks through unspoilt bush, running creeks, waterfalls and dotted with historic towns such as Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale, Berrima, Bundanoon and many more little towns.
It’s hard to escape the noise of town, though the Southern Highlands still has many little places to escape where there is only the real sounds of silence – natural sounds of nature.
This painting measures 76.2×60.9×1 (30×24) and is painted on 380 Premimum Cotton Duck. It comes – Kiln dried with heavy duty stretcher bars and is for sale on this site now for $450.00 Free shipping via Courier Australia wide
